ORCA scientist Dr. Sarah Frias-Torres and colleagues at UM Rosenstiel successfully demonstrated how this camera system, originally developed for the U.S. Department of Defense, can be used to conduct visual underwater surveys to evaluate the recovery/decline of the species.
